I had a lovely sit down and shandy at Brew street cafe and bar this afternoon. The shandy I had was sweet and refreshing and helped me to recover from my earlier exertions. I did not eat any food at this venue but the stuff i saw looked ok so maybe worth a try. Nice in the sunshine with plenty of people hanging around for some fodder, drink and a chat or two. The toilets at brew street cafe were clean and effective (example flush video attached below) and the cafe had a water fountain which was useful for refilling my bottle. However the fountain did run out of water during my time at the cafe and i had to ask the staff to fill my bottle. they duly obliged and my afternoon was bettered by being able to self hydrate on my journey home. Worth going if you're in the area, probably wouldn't travel for it especially but then again who would it's just a cafe really.

Hosted an event in the Park this weekend - fantastic collaboration from Ricky and Ben who were super helpful in organising spaces for us and making sure we had a great experience! Big shout out to the staff on the day including Kaydee, Lea, Asha, Hope, Petra (& others I might have missed) for their excellent service and warm reception. Food was great, drinks were good and they were very accommodating! Would definitely collaborate again!

I absolutely love their coffee, and visiting their café every Sunday has become a routine for me. It’s not just about the coffee—it’s a great spot for conversations too. The staff is friendly and always makes the effort to chat, which I really appreciate. I’m also planning to have lunch there soon. Plus, it's a pet-friendly place, which makes it even better!

My Company had a volunteer day in the Olympic park and we met for coffee in this cafe and then had lunch. I am a coeliac and was expecting the normal dire gluten free fare that I normally get when asked about my dietary requirements. Well what a pleasant surprise. The food was very good. We all got burgers and chips, accommodating for me and my vegan colleagues and a really delicious salad to go with it. It was quite a meal but delightful and everyone enjoyed it. The staff were great and you can see by the diversity of the groups that they cater for that this is a popular spot. If I am in the area again I would come back!

ParkPlay had their 4th birthday event at the Timber Lodge in May 2025. The venue was perfect and we couldn't ask for more. We hired both event rooms and outdoor space which were great for what we needed. We had access to fridges and ice for drinks, projector and mic for speeches and outdoor seating. The team at Timber Lodge were so accommodating and welcoming, thanks especially to Grace, the events administrator, and Ben, the venue manager for sorting everything out for us. We also used the main cafe during the day for coffee and food. I would recommend Timber Lodge to anyone looking for a day out or corporate / charity event venue. Thanks again.

A good cafe to meet at to start and finish a walk in the park. The Staff are friendly and helpful. A good selection of hot drinks and food. Accessable to all as everything is in the group floor. Place was clean and tidy in all areas, including toilets. Parking is in and around the area, check signed for times and prices.
